Fireworks Displays This Week July 2020
(NONE AT LAKE WINNIE THIS YEAR, THEY HAVE CANCELLED THEIR FIREWORKS) *****

THURSDAY JULY 2nd–      Fort Payne at the Fort Payne High School Football stadium.
Fireworks at dark. No food or kids’ activities this year.

FRIDAY JULY 3rd –
10:00 p.m. In Lafayette at the Municipal Park..  Fireworks will be shot from the Golf
Course..  limited parking will be available at the Recreation Department after 9:00 p.m.
MARION COUNTY –  Friday night July 3rd, there will  be a fireworks show at Hale's
Bar Marina,  overlooking Nickajack Lake. Starts at 9pm
McCAYSVILLE, GEORGIA   At dark, downtown, Friday… Restaurants and shops will
be open. The night is sponsored by the McCaysville Business Association… masks are
requested.

SATURDAY JULY 4th –
ATHENS, TENNESSEE: , At Athens Regional Park. The Park itself will be CLOSED
because the size of the fireworks will be larger, which could be dangerous to
spectators.. So find a good viewing point outside of the Park, in Athens. And the
evening starts at 8:30pm with a Fly-Over from the 134th Re-Fueling Wing, out of McGee
Tyson Air National Guard Base in Knoxville.
BLUE RIDGE, GEORGIA, this Saturday night at 8:30, fireworks will be over Lake Blue
Ridge on Old Highway 76.
CLEVELAND, Tennessee – Saturday night at 9:30 at Bradley Square Mall
DALTON, GEORGIA –  Concession Stands will be open at Heritage Point Park
beginning at 5pm, and fireworks will begin at 9:30 Saturday night.. You are asked to
watch the fireworks from the upper ballfield, and remember social distancing.

DUNLAP, TENNESSEE – Their parade begins at 9am Saturday, from Sequatchie
County Middle School, through downtown, to the First Baptist Church on Church
Street.  Live music will begin at 10:30am, and continue throughout the day. Fireworks
are at dark   (all times are Central)
HENAGAR, ALABAMA – this Saturday night at Henagar City Park. The annual Sand
Mountain Potato Festival will include a parade as well as food and craft vendors. Starts
at 10am Central, fireworks at dark.
JASPER, TENNESSEE – fireworks Saturday night at dark, at Jasper City Park
KIMBALL –     at the Old Country Church on Kimball Cove Road   8pm central
LAKESITE, Saturday night at dark, at Lakesite City Park. Parking is very limited.
LOOKOUT VALLEY at the John A. Patten Recreation Center, Saturday night at 9:00.
The Park and Recreation Center will be closed so find a good spot in the area. No food
or other activities this year.
PIKEVILLE, TENNESSEE  on Main Street this Saturday night. The “Star Spangled
Celebration” begins at 4pm with a  farmers market and a cruise-in. Music at 7pm,
fireworks at dark. Fireworks will be shot from the Pikeville United Methodist Church.
RINGGOLD, GEORGIA   Saturday  from 1pm til 10pm at the Colonnade.  The indoor
crafts will get underway at 1:00;  the cruise-in will start at 4:00, and fireworks at 9:30.
Parking and admission are free.
SODDY-DAISY – at Harbor Lights Marina, Saturday  night July 4, 2020 at 9pm
SOUTH PITTSBURG, TENNESSEE  –  Saturday night at dark, fireworks will be over
downtown South Pittsburg, but no other activities will take place.
SWEETWATER, TENNESSEE, downtown Sweetwater Saturday night. The celebration
will start at 6pm with music and vendors, then fireworks at dark.
