Some drier air moves in for Saturday! So, a little less humid and therefore fewer showers and storms popping up, It will still be hot with afternoon highs in the low 90s.

A disturbance drops in on Sunday. At the same time, moisture and higher humidity returns, all helping to generate storms. Some afternoon storms could be strong. Main threat will be damaging winds along with heavy rain. We are under a LEVEL 1 Marginal risk for storms. Keep an eye on the sky! and please remember lightning safety: When the thunder roars, go indoors!

Next week looks hotter! Each afternoon temperatures should continue to climb to the low and mid 90s. Any shower and storm chance mainly just the "pop up" variety, The Heat Index could rise above 100 each afternoon as well especially Tuesday through Friday. There could be a slightly better chance for some heat relieving storms on Friday..

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and just a little more comfortable.. Lows in the mid to upper 60s. Around 70 in Chattanooga. NW winds 5-10mph

SATURDAY: Sunny to partly sunny and not quite as humid. An afternoon high in the low 90s. NW 5-15mph

SATURDAY NIGHT: Nice. Lows in the 60s.

SUNDAY: Scattered afternoon storms are likely. Some could be strong. Highs in the low 90s. Watching!
