Luckily TDOT has put a pause on construction in the state of Tennessee. They will stop construction Wednesday at 12 pm and start back up Sunday the 28th.

If you are traveling this weekend here are the best and worst times to drive.

If you’re driving on Thanksgiving day, you might want to get on the road early.  Traffic this Thursday is expected to peak between noon and 3:00 P.M.  And the BEST time to be on the road is before 11:00 A.M.

Here are the BEST times to be on the road over the next five days:  Traffic should be at its lowest on Wednesday after 9:00 P.M. . . . Thursday before 11:00 A.M. . . . Friday before 11:00 A.M. . . . and on Saturday and Sunday before noon.

The WORST times to be on the road are:  On Wednesday between noon and 8:00 P.M. . . . Thursday between noon and 3:00 P.M. . . . Friday between 1:00 and 4:00 P.M. . . . Saturday between 2:00 and 7:00 P.M. . . . and Sunday between 1:00 and 7:00 P.M.
