Mother’s Day Disney Sing-a-long

Woah! What a treat! I actually love that Disney and ABC have thought of this concept and how well they execute it! A couple of weeks ago we got a Disney sing-a-long with stars like Ariana Grande, Juliana and Derek Hough and so many other celebs pulled together, at home of course, and recorded themselves singing to famous Disney songs.

Well for Mother’s Day we got another sing-a-long and it was bigger and better! The show kicked off with the Muppet’s and Friends. Billy Eichner, Seth Rogen, Donald Glover, and Walter Russell III sang”Hakuna Matata. Idina Menzel and Ben Platt came together and sang a new version of “A Whole New World.” Katy Perry loves a good costume! She and her dog Nugget dressed up for last night performance. Nugget was dumbo and Katy was Dumbo’s Mom. Halsey rocked some bright red hair for her performance  as Ariel from The Little Mermaid and sang “Part of Your World.” John Legend and Jennifer Hudson sang a beautiful melody of “Beauty and the Beast.” Shakira revisited her hit “Try Everything” from the underrated Zootopia. Miguel gave us a taste of Coco, with some help from Christina Aguilera. All in all, GREAT SHOW!
