September is National PCOS Month

MTV and Teen Mom OG’s Maci Bookout was in the studio with Natalie talking about why Chattanooga was TEAL on September 1st. September 1st is National Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome Awareness Day and lighting up National building teal, we are bring awareness to a syndrome that’s the leading cause of infertility. Over 200,000 woman are diagnosed in the United States every year, not including other countries. PCOS is an ovarian syndrome which causes cysts on the outer edge of uterus; it causes depression, irregular menstruation, fatigue, weight gain and infertility.
So to bring awareness to PCOS Natalie and Maci teamed up to turn Chattanooga teal to bring awareness to PCOS. A huge thank you to The Westin Hotel, Rock City and Ruby Falls for lighting up TEAL for National PCOS Awareness Month!
