Florida Chihuahua Confirmed As World’s Oldest Dog: A Florida chihuahua is officially the world’s oldest dog. Guinness World Records has confirmed the chihuahua named TobyKeith (yes, like the country singer) is the oldest dog living at the age of 21-years and 66-days. Gisela Shore, TobyKeith’s human, says he was born on January 9th, 2001. She adopted him from an animal shelter when he was just a few months old. Shore says he’s in pretty good health considering his age and does a lot of sleeping, but other than that he’s “doing great.”
