39% admitted that they regretted taking on a remodeling or repair project with their partner; 17% said they even separated or divorced over it!

80% said the biggest source of contention with their partner was agreeing – and sticking – to a project’s budget.

And…one in three men even admitted to tackling a home improvement project behind their partner’s back!

Home Advisor says if you plan on tackling things like home repair and other projects with your partner, do so with lots of planning and the input of a professional.
