3D Printed Instruments

The Acoustical Society of America is 3D-printing violins to make the instrument more affordable for more children and adults who want to learn how to play. They hope to expand to all instruments to provide a cost effective way to get musical instruments in the hands of students. Violins aren’t the first 3D printed instrument. Other instruments have been 3D printed before. A guitar and a saxophone were successfully printed before.
