Have you tried 7Up‘s “Zero Sugar” Tropical Soda?  If so, it’s possible you were immediately transported to a tropical island vacation… for an hour or so at least.  But in reality, that was just a “ZERO SUGAR” RUSH.

7Up is now recalling more than 77,000 cans of 7Up Tropical … because they are labeled “Zero Sugar,” but they’re actually CHOCK-FULL OF SUGAR.

There was some kind of mix-up, and they contained FULL sugar, which is a whopping 38 grams per can.  The affected products are 12-ounce cans in 12-pack cases.  They were distributed in Utah, and have a best-by date of March 17th, 2027.  They have the UPC code: “0 78000 03798 2.”

Naturally, this is more than just an unexpected sugar high.  Some people have medical conditions that make this dangerous to drink.  No injuries or illnesses have been reported.  And it’s unclear how they discovered the error.
