TVFCU and Chattanooga Zoo Announce Finalists for Naming Contest for New Porcupine Family Member. VOTE NOW!

The excitement continues to build at the Chattanooga Zoo as TVFCU and the zoo narrow down the potential names for the newest addition to the Prickles Family, the baby Cape Porcupine. After receiving numerous creative name suggestions from the community, the top five contenders have been selected, and now it’s time for the public to cast their votes.
From now until Sunday, February 18th at 5 p.m., individuals can vote for their favorite name suggestion via Facebook “Reactions.” Each reaction corresponds to a different name option:
- Like = Peso Prickles
- Love = Bill Prickles
- Care = Tickle Prickles
- Wow = Buck Prickles
- Laugh = Dolla Prickles
The voting process is simple and accessible to all, allowing everyone to participate in choosing the perfect name for the adorable porcupette. Whether you’re drawn to the charm of Peso Prickles, the endearing nature of Bill Prickles, the playfulness of Tickle Prickles, the strength of Buck Prickles, or the humor of Dolla Prickles, your vote will help determine the winning name.
The winner of the naming contest will be determined by popular vote on social media, with the winning name set to be announced to the public next week. In the event that multiple individuals submitted the same name, recognition will be given to the person who submitted it first.
As an added incentive, the individual whose name suggestion receives the most votes will be awarded a year-long family membership to the Chattanooga Zoo, providing them with countless opportunities to visit and enjoy all that the zoo has to offer.
