The Celebrity Beat…

Here’s the latest on the terrorist plot to bomb a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna, Austria:

Three teenagers have been detained.  Their ages are 19, 17, and 15.  Their plot was uncovered with the help of foreign intelligence agencies, including U.S. authorities.

The 19-year-old told police his plan was to, quote, “kill himself and a large number of people,” at either Thursday or Friday’s show.

There would have been around 65,000 people at each of the three concerts, plus about 30,000 people outside the stadium.

Taylor is scheduled to play five shows at Wembley Stadium from August 15th through the 20th, and the mayor of London says those shows are STILL ON.

As we’ve already heard, the two older suspects were connected to ISIS.  And a search of the 19-year-old’s home unearthed a stockpile of chemicals, explosive devices, detonators, and counterfeit cash.

The 17-year-old had recently started working for a company that provided services to the stadium and cops actually collared him near it.  Not much has been revealed about the 15-year-old.

All three of them were born in Austria, with either Turkish, North Macedonian, or Croatian heritage.

On a related note, fans are flooding the streets of Vienna to sing Taylor Swift songs and exchange friendship bracelets.
