Food News! – Well sorta…
If you look at a calendar, fall doesn’t officially start for another couple weeks but PUMPKIN SPICE has been in the air since mid-August.
Google released some data on the pumpkin spice-scented stuff we’re searching for online, and there are some STRANGE BIRDS in America.
1. In many states, the most popular pumpkin spice-scented items are personal care stuff… soap, body wash, shampoo, deodorant, lotion, lip products, and hair color.
This includes many people in the Midwest, middle America, and the mountain states, plus Vermont, Massachusetts, Tennessee, and Alabama.
People in Montana are specifically looking for pumpkin spice body butter… Arkansas is searching for pumpkin spice toothpaste and in North Carolina, people want pumpkin spice toilet paper.
2. Many other states want pumpkin spice candles. They include: Texas, Colorado, Oregon, Illinois, the Dakotas, and New Jersey.
New York is specifically looking for “wax melts” and in Connecticut, the top search is for a pumpkin spice “candle in a mug.”
3. Some states are searching for pumpkin spice clothing, including California, Mississippi, and Nevada. In Georgia, people want a “pumpkin spice sweater“.
4. People in Florida want pumpkin spice CAT LITTER.
5. Some Americans are CLEANING with pumpkin spice. Several states want pumpkin spice dish soap. New Hampshire is looking for trash bags and Indiana is hoping to find pumpkin spice “power wash,” apparently to freshen up their driveways.
6. And then there are even stranger pockets of the country. The top pumpkin spice search in South Carolina is for “earrings” …in Maryland, it’s “engagement rings” …in Rhode Island, it’s “fabric” and in Missouri, it’s “pumpkin spice BRAKE PADS.”
