Let’s Talk Dating: Another Woman Is Making My Husband Food… Should I Be Upset?

Hey Brock!

Here’s my scenario… I wake up at 6am every morning to make my husband’s lunch. I love doing this for him and believe it’s the best way I can send him off knowing that he is loved and cared for.

That being said, I definitely noticed last month when he brought it home completely untouched. He said that someone from the office had brought something in to eat and he didn’t want to hurt her feelings. Ok. Fine.

But since then, he has done this a bunch more times. It’s about once a week on average now. He says that this woman is just a “good cook” and often brings leftovers that she can’t finish to the office. He says it shouldn’t be a big deal, because he eats what I make, just not that day at work. I asked if this woman was single. He said she was, but insisted that has nothing to do with the situation.

I told him from now on that he needs to politely decline because he is sending her signals. He thinks I am being ridiculous. Am I?
