The Grayson Foundation Fights For Childhood Cancer Awareness through Specialty License Plates
In the fight against childhood cancer, the contributions of dedicated individuals and organizations can make a significant impact.
Today, Gino D was able to talk with Gloria Moser, the President of The Grayson Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Cleveland. Established in memory of her son, Grayson, who valiantly battled a pediatric brain tumor, the foundation is devoted to supporting families facing the challenges of childhood cancer.
Gloria’s journey began with a deeply personal experience—the loss of her son, Grayson. His bravery and the challenges he faced during his battle with cancer inspired her to create a foundation that would provide meaningful support to other families navigating similar circumstances.
The Grayson Foundation is committed to uplifting families currently dealing with childhood cancer in several impactful ways.
Each year, the foundation awards a scholarship to a deserving student at Cleveland High School. This initiative not only honors Grayson’s legacy but also supports the educational aspirations of local youth.
The foundation also provides local families with monthly gift cards for gas, groceries, and fast food, easing the financial burden that often accompanies cancer treatment. This practical support allows families to focus on what matters most—their child’s health and well-being.
In addition to its direct support programs, Gloria is actively involved in raising awareness about childhood cancer through initiatives like the launch of a Childhood Cancer Awareness Specialty License Plate for Tennessee residents. This initiative aims to promote understanding and support for families affected by this devastating disease, while also generating funds for the foundation’s programs.
Listen to the interview below with Gloria, where she will share insights into the work of The Grayson Foundation, and ways you can get involved in this important cause and help get these Specialty Plates made.
