J-Lo Was Told She’s “Getting Up There” During An Interview

You know how you’re not supposed to mention a woman’s age?  Well, the people at Variety never got that message.  Because one of their journalists was interviewing Jennifer Lopez in front of an audience, and he went there.

First, he told her he couldn’t believe it’s been 30 years since her breakout role in “Selena”.

It’ll actually turn 30 in 2027, and the guy talked about possibly doing an anniversary retrospective.  He said, quote, “You’ll be 60 by then.  Getting up there.”

There were some gasps from the audience, and the guy told her it was just a joke.  But instead of getting mad, she actually leaned into it.

She told the crowd, quote, “I want to say thank you, you guys.  We’ve been doing this a long time together…  What a journey this has been.  I honestly feel that the best is yet to come.”
