The Lookout Wild Film Festival (LWFF) is set to launch this Friday, January 17th, kicking off a three-day event that celebrates outdoor adventure, conservation, and storytelling from around the globe. Hosted at The Signal in Chattanooga, the festival is expected to attract a diverse audience passionate about nature and exploration.
Returning for its 13th year, the LWFF features more than 70 films from over 20 different countries, designed to inspire attendees through powerful narratives that highlight both human resilience and the beauty of the natural world. With six film sessions planned across the weekend, the festival aims to create an engaging atmosphere for all who attend.
Festival Director Andy Johns expressed enthusiasm for this year’s lineup, emphasizing the festival’s commitment to connecting audiences with nature. “Our mission is to inspire audiences by sharing stories that connect them to wild places and the people who love them,” Johns stated. “This year’s selection promises unforgettable moments that truly reflect the spirit of our mission.”
Adding to this year’s festivities is the new Adventure Expo, a special showcase presented by Gearhead Outfitters, where outdoor enthusiasts can explore the latest in gear and engage with leading brands in the industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to delve into the outdoor lifestyle while also receiving a $20 coupon for purchases over $100 at Gearhead Outfitters with every festival ticket purchase.
