Excitement is building as the Chattanooga River Market prepares to kick off its new season at the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza, reopening its doors on March 8th. This beloved local marketplace, which has showcased the talents of regional artisans, crafters, and food vendors for over ten years, is an ideal destination for both locals and visitors alike, especially during the spring break season.

Starting the weekend of March 8-9 and continuing through April 13th, the River Market will operate on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. After that, it will revert to its traditional Saturday hours only, starting April 19th.

Guests at the River Market can explore a diverse lineup of offerings, including handcrafted jewelry, unique woodworking, artisanal foods, fragrant soaps, and much more. Each weekend is set to feature a local food truck serving up delicious lunch options, while live music will create a vibrant atmosphere enhancing the shopping experience.

As the weather warms up, the River Market will also introduce a refreshing new addition. Beginning May 3rd, the first Saturday of each month will feature FREE yoga sessions under the River Journey Pavilion at 10 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own mats and take part in a community yoga class with a scenic view of the Tennessee River.
