The Diddy Trial Has Begun

Opening statements began yesterday in Diddy’s sex trafficking trial, with prosecutors promising to tell the jury about 20 years’ worth of crimes, included kidnapping, arson, drugs, sex crimes, bribery, and obstruction.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s attorney admitted that Diddy was prone to violent outbursts, often fueled by drugs and alcohol… and yes, some of those outbursts may have warranted domestic violence charges.

But she said all the sex stuff was consensual, and did not constitute sex trafficking or racketeering.

The video of Diddy brutally beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie was shown almost immediately.  Jurors ended up seeing it four times.  The trial’s first witness was a security guard who was called in the aftermath.

A male escort who was allegedly paid to have sex with Cassie while Diddy watched also took the stand.
