The Celebrity Beat…

On Friday night, Miley Cyrus attended the premiere of her new “visual album” “Something Beautiful” at the Tribeca Film Festival.

After the movie, she sat down for a Q&A, and fans immediately started shouting at her to SING.

Apparently, they didn’t quite understand the concept of a FILM festival.  One woman shouted, “We thought this was a concert!  We paid $800!”  Another yelled out, “Are you actually gonna sing?!

Then somebody asked her to sing “The Climb”, and she replied, “You have to start it.”  And a little a cappella sing-along ensued.  Here’s video.

After the show, some of the hecklers defended themselves by saying that they bought their tickets from resale sites, where the event was billed as a concert.
