Jeremiah Ortner will appear on tonight’s episode of “Family Recipe Showdown” on Food Network. The episode, titled “Cast-Iron Secrets,” airs at 6 p.m. ET and promises an exciting competition where families showcase their best cast-iron recipes.

Jeremiah was born and raised in the restaurant industry in Louisiana and now resides in Chattanooga, TN. He will be competing alongside his twin brother Zach Ortner with other talented family duos in a bid to impress the judges and win a $10,000 prize.

Octavia Spencer and Edgar “Dook” Chase will be hosting and they hope to learn some family secrets in this duel of the cast-iron pans.

In the first round, the twins faced off against, aunt and niece Cynthia Goodman and Legenia Spiller Bearden, and fiancés Ovi Kabir and Hannah Claire Blackwell to present their best cast-iron dishes.

Two teams will move on to round two, where they’ll be wishing they put hot sauce in their bag to take on a special guest judge’s family favorite recipes.
