Billie Eilish Thought This Hit Song Of Hers Was “Kind of Stupid”

“Birds of a Feather” is one of Billie Eilish’s biggest hits.  But if she had her way, it wouldn’t have made it onto her album “Hit Me Hard and Soft”.

Billie says, quote, “Multiple times I was like, ‘We should cut this.’  Even when I played the whole album for the label, I was like, ‘Guys, this one is kind of stupid.'”

Obviously, that was the WRONG call.  “Birds of a Feather” spent three weeks at #1 on the Billboard Global 200, and was Spotify‘s most-streamed song of 2024, with 1.8 billion streams.  It currently has more than 3 billion.

It’s also the closing song in her live set.
