Chatt Foundation Calls for Community Donations to Support Homeless Population

The Chatt Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting those experiencing homelessness in the area, has issued an appeal for donations to meet the growing needs of the community it serves.
In its latest appeal, the foundation has outlined a list of essential items needed to support its programs. The organization is seeking kitchen supplies such as silverware, plates, and various seasonings including black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Additionally, they are requesting travel-sized hygiene products and clothing items like socks, undergarments, jackets, and jeans.
Local residents interested in contributing can drop off donations at the foundation’s designated collection point located at 727 E. 11th Street in Chattanooga. Donations are accepted daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The foundation emphasizes the importance of community support in helping to address the increasing needs of vulnerable populations, especially as colder weather is still here. The organization encourages residents to contribute what they can to make a positive impact on those facing hardship.
