Chattanooga’s Rising Music Stars Gearing Up for Return of the Road to Nightfall 2026 Series

Music enthusiasts and local artists alike are buzzing as the highly anticipated Road to Nightfall 2026 competition prepares to return this April, offering Chattanooga’s emerging musicians a prime platform to showcase their talent. The annual event, which culminates in a chance to headline the renowned Nightfall Concert Series, will take place over two weekends in April.

The series kicks off on April 3 and 4, followed by additional heats on April 17 and 18 at The Granfalloon, with the final showdown scheduled for April 25 at Barrelhouse Ballroom. Each night will feature a vibrant lineup of local bands and solo artists competing for the opportunity to perform at Nightfall on July 10 — a coveted spot that could propel their musical careers forward.

Participants will compete for a grand prize of $1,000 and the chance to headline the popular summer concert series, an event that has become a staple of Chattanooga’s live music scene. The competition is open to all emerging musicians, with registration available online HERE. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 20 at 11:59 p.m.

More than just a contest, Road to Nightfall celebrates Chattanooga’s vibrant local music scene. It provides artists with opportunities to learn from organizers and peers, gain exposure, and connect with industry professionals, fostering a sense of community among local musicians.

Audience members are encouraged to attend the preliminary nights to cheer on their favorite acts. Each night, one winner will be selected through audience votes to advance to the finals.
