If you’re looking for new, original storytelling, don’t look to Arnold Schwarzenegger or Sylvester Stallone. Because they’re all about redoing what they’ve already done.
Arnold says development is underway on sequels to THREE of his classic flicks: “Predator”, “Conan”, and “Commando”.
But he says, quote, “They don’t write them like I’m 40 years old. You write it to be age appropriate. I’ll still go in there and kick some ass but it will be different.”
Meanwhile, Stallone has signed on as an executive producer of “John Rambo”, a prequel to the first “Rambo” movie, 1982’s “First Blood”. It’ll star Noah Centineo in the title role.
He says, quote, “Rambo has been part of my life for a very long time. A character built on resilience, survival, and the scars of war. He’s meant a lot to me and to audiences around the world for decades.”
