Signs You Need To Update Your Dating Profile

Spring is here and everyone is shaking off the winter blues and getting out and active, especially in the dating game. Over 50% of people are now choosing to use dating apps to find love, so there is a good chance you could find your person by swiping right. However if more people are swiping left on you it could be because your profile was giving boring, desperate or low key cringe vibes. Listed below are some updates you can do to your profile to freshen it up and increase your chance of finding love in 2026.

  1. New Pictures. If your appearance has changed or maybe they are a bit older it is time to get some new pics up, preferably solo shots of you or pictures that show off your personality.
  2. You have a boring bio. Your bio should grab your potential matches attention, you can have a great photo but if your bio is lacking it is a good chance that you will end up in the land of discarded profiles. Your bio should be specific, positive, brief and end with a hook.
  3. Proofread your profile to make sure there are no spelling or grammatical errors.
