The Tennessee Aquarium, nestled along the banks of one of America’s most biodiverse rivers, is rallying support in its bid to once again secure a top 10 position in USA Today’s 10Best Aquariums List. Known for its immersive journey from mountain streams to ocean depths, the Aquarium is one of 20 nominees nationwide competing in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards.

The nomination process involved a panel of experts and editors, but the final results rely on public voting. The good news for supporters is that voting is FREE, EASY, and OPEN to everyone—no registration required.

From now until Monday, May 11th, at 11:59 a.m. EDT, fans can cast their vote once daily at 10best.usatoday.com.

The Tennessee Aquarium offers a captivating experience that takes visitors on a water journey through diverse ecosystems. Guests can get up close with playful otters, touch ancient Lake Sturgeon, and marvel at river giants and an array of turtles. The exhibits also highlight the connection between freshwater rivers and the ocean, featuring gentle stingrays, lively penguins, sharks, and unique sea creatures like frogfish and lumpsuckers.

Comprising two main buildings—River Journey and Ocean Journey—plus an IMAX 3D Theater, S.T.R.E.A.M. Learning Center, and outdoor spaces on the Aquarium Plaza, the facility provides an all-encompassing aquatic adventure. Behind the scenes, dedicated scientists at the Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute work tirelessly to study and protect threatened and endangered species native to the southeastern U.S., including caring for the critically endangered Laurel Dace.
