Everything costs so much money nowadays that Gen Z grads are looking at unorthodox cities to start their career.  The overwhelming feeling is that places like L.A. and NYC are just too expensive.

So, researchers chose 13 different indicators that made a city livable for a recent college graduate. Some of them were: “starter home availability” . . . “economic diversity” . . . “job availability” . . . “career satisfaction” . . . and “work-life balance”.
