Is Tennessee A Top 10 State To Drive Through?

An annual study on the best states for a summer road trip just came out.  And Rhode Island, America’s TINIEST STATE, is last.

That isn’t super shocking . . . it’s so small that you could drive across the whole thing without even realizing it.  (Then, you could turn around to go back, and accidentally drive through it again.)

The study looked at 32 different factors in three categories: Costs . . . safety . . . and how many attractions or activities there are.  Like national parks, amusement parks, beaches, lakes, and scenic drives.

According to the results, the best state for a summer road trip this year is Minnesota . . . partially due to it being Top Three in safety.

The 10 best summer road trip states are:  Minnesota . . . Utah . . . Louisiana . . . New York . . . Florida . . . Texas . . . Maine . . . Georgia . . . North Carolina . . . and Ohio.

The 10 WORST states for road trips are:  Rhode Island . . . Delaware . . . Connecticut . . . California . . . Maryland . . . Vermont . . . Massachusetts . . . New Mexico . . . Montana . . . and New Hampshire.

California has the most stuff to do, but it’s also the most expensive, particularly with gas.  Louisiana is the cheapest . . . Maine is the safest . . . New Mexico is the LEAST safe . . . and Delaware has the LEAST stuff to do.
