A Man Pepper-Sprayed a Family . . . Because They Wouldn’t Pet His Dog?

A 75-year-old man in Florida named Marshall Avener was at a pet store last Thursday, when he approached a family inside . . . and asked the kids if they wanted to pet his dog.

They ignored him . . . and Marshall LOST IT.

The family tried to walk away, but Marshall started making inappropriate comments.  The father confronted him, and Marshall started firing pepper spray at everyone, even the children.

The cops were called, and Marshall was arrested.  He’s facing charges of aggravated battery and child abuse. He’s being held without bond.  The police asked him WHY he flipped out, and he “had no explanation.”

Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt.
