Sleepy Girl Mocktail

Do you wake up in the morning still tired? Or do you have trouble falling asleep? If that is the case a sleepy girl mocktail may actually help you get some much needed sleep. The drink consists of tart cherry juice, magnesium powder and a pro-biotic soda or sparkling water. The drink works because the tart cherry juice has melatonin and the magnesium acts as a natural muscle relaxer. Now this will not cure insomnia and before drinking this you may want to consult with your doctor. Listed below are the ingredients for a sleep girl mocktail.

  • 1/2 cup Tart Cherry Juice: Contains natural melatonin and tryptophan to help signal your body for sleep.
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons Magnesium Powder (such as Magnesium Glycinate or Calm powder): Helps relax the nervous system and ease muscle tension.
  • 1/2 to 1 cup Sparkling Water or Prebiotic Soda (such as Olipop or Poppy): Adds a fizzy, refreshing top layer.
  • Ice: For serving
