The Celebrity Beat…

Judith Sheindlin, a.k.a. Judge Judy, is retiring this fall… sorta.  She’s stepping away from being in front of the camera when her final episode of “Judy Justice” airs on October 22nd.

Quote, “I have a lot of other things of interest…I don’t want to do hair and makeup anymore, but I still want my message to get out there.”

Judy will still be busy though.  She’s developing an adult animated series called “Judyverse” based on the viral A.I. baby Judge Judy videos.

She’s also producing her son Adam Levy’s syndicated court show called “Adam’s Law”, which premieres today.  You can see where it’ll be available in your local area here.

CBS will celebrate the 30th anniversary of “Judge Judy” with a special next Tuesday, the 22nd, called “Judge Judy: Unfiltered, Unforgettable”. Judy turns 84 next month.
