The Celebrity Beat…

As it turns out, Christina Applegate doesn’t have multiple sclerosis.  She’s been misdiagnosed this whole time, and unfortunately that included undergoing infusions that wreaked havoc on her body.

Christina announced her MS diagnosis in August of 2021, but now, thanks to new technology, they’ve changed their minds.  Unfortunately, they don’t know what she has.

Quote, “I haven’t gotten better . . . If anything, I’ve gotten worse in some ways.  So I’m back at square one where I don’t know what’s going on with me . . . Why did this happen?  I have every symptom of someone with MS.”

Christina said it still hurts to get out of bed and to stand up.  She’s still sleeping all the time.  She added, quote, “I lost everything.  I lost my job.  It stopped my life.  I still have to use wheelchairs when I go to doctors’ offices. I can’t walk from the car to the room.  I’m still in this.  Nothing magical happened when she said ‘You don’t have MS.’  I guess I felt comfort in having a name. I felt comfort in having an answer and a community.  I still am a part of it.”
