Noah Wyle Is “People” Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive

“People” magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2026 is… Noah Wyle.  When he first heard the news, Noah thought it was a PRANK.  But his wife Sara convinced him that he’s worthy of the title.

Also, Noah says she was, quote, “very pleased that this reflects well on her taste.”

Noah is 55, and his career is at another peak, thanks to the medical drama “The Pitt“… which he calls, quote, “the second lightning strike in my life.”  After “ER“, of course.

Here are some stats about your new Sexiest Man Alive:

Biggest vice:  Instagram shopping.  Especially survival gear.

Biggest pet peeve: Being late.

Favorite place in the world:  Santa Ynez, California.  He has a place there.

Secret talent:  Catching flies and releasing them.  Quote, “I have very, very fast hands.”

What he’s most grateful for:  Quote, “I’ve got a wonderful wife.  I’ve got wonderful kids.  I’ve got four parents that are still alive and able to, you know, feed themselves and have dinner and give advice. I’m grateful for my work.  I’m grateful for my colleagues.  I’m grateful for friends and mentors, and the teachers that I’ve had.”

Noah’s new title was revealed on Amy Poehler’s “Good Hang” podcast where he expressed some insecurity about measuring up to Sexiest Men of the past.

Quote, “Sean Connery and Denzel Washington, the sexy men of yesteryear, they’d look down upon me!  I should have trained harder for this!  There’s no guidebook, there’s no rules.”
