The Celebrity Beat…

Just so we’re clear, Lenny Kravitz is alive and well.  There were reports that he was on that plane that crashed in Florida on Sunday, but his rep says those reports are, quote, “untrue and incorrect.”

The plane was a Learjet bound for the Bahamas. It crashed into a mobile home park in South Florida, killing all nine people onboard.

The reason Lenny’s name got mixed up in all of this is because a female pilot who was WRONGLY identified as the one flying the downed plane, had Tweeted about an upcoming flight where she was taking Lenny to the Bahamas.

The misidentified pilot asked that people, quote, “please stop speculating and spreading misinformation on this tragedy and be respectful of those involved.”
