A $1 Million “Chutes and Ladders” Playground Opened in Pennsylvania

If you’ve played “Chutes and Ladders”, you know it can be BRUTAL.  So I don’t know if this is a GOOD thing or a BAD thing…

“Chutes and Ladders”-themed playground just opened in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  It looks just like it sounds… with dozens of slides and equipment to climb.

The playground took two years to design and build, and it cost more than $1 million.

The city posted some footage from yesterday’s opening day… and there are some hills involved, so it does feel reminiscent of the game.  But it’s also for very young kids, so it’s not nearly as harrowing as it could’ve been.

Speaking of “BRAND NEW” playgrounds… Chatsworth Elementary School is a finalist in the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show‘s Recess Redo and is in the running for the $100,000 Playground makeover.
