A doctor who posts advice videos on TikTok says the “just in case” pee isn’t always a good idea. It teaches your bladder to tell you it’s time to go, even if it isn’t. If you keep doing that, the bladder will keep sending the signal sooner and sooner.
Obviously, it IS okay to do the “just in case” pee when necessary. Like, before going to bed, or if you’ll be away from a bathroom for a long time.
