A Guy Was Caught Stealing the “O” from a Police Department Sign
Someone in Washington called the police at 2:00 A.M. on Monday, and said someone was damaging the entry gate at the Tacoma Police Headquarters. It didn’t take the cops long to respond . . . they just walked outside.
They saw a man . . . later identified as Marvel Walker Jr. . . . holding a piece of concrete over his head, and dropping it over the fence onto police property.
They frisked the guy, and a found a piece of black-coated metal in his hoodie pocket that was shaped like an “O.” He said he found it on the ground . . . but it turned out that it was the “O” from the word “POLICE” on the police department sign. And the officers determined that it had been freshly pried off.
Marvel was charged with second-degree malicious mischief, third-degree malicious mischief, and second-degree criminal trespass.
