A “Love Island” Contestant Was Kicked Off Ahead of the Season 8 Premiere for Using Racial Slurs

“Love Island USA” Season 8 premieres tomorrow on Peacock, and a contestant has already been kicked off.  After the cast was announced on Thursday, fans found videos of one of the girls using the N-word.

 

 

Her name is Vasana Montgomery and the resurfaced videos showed her saying the slur while singing a song . . . and another time while yelling at an arcade game.

 

 

Peacock says the videos that resurfaced were not publicly shared until after the cast announcement, so they couldn’t have been seen during the casting process.

 

 

It’s unclear if Vasana had already entered the villa and begun filming for season eight.
