A Movie Update: Sylvester Stallone Reprising Another 90’s Role & Is ‘Juwanna Mann’ Getting a Sequel?

Deadline reports that Sylvester Stallone will once again play Ranger Gabriel “Gabe” Walker in a sequel to his 1993 film Cliffhanger. Ric Roman Waugh is set to direct the pic. No details about the plot or other cast members have been released at this time.

Also… Remember “Juwanna Mann”?

It’s a 2002 comedy that starred Miguel Nunez Jr. as a star basketball player who gets suspended … so he dresses as a woman to play in a women’s pro league.

Well, it’s a pretty interesting time, politically speaking, to revisit that theme … and Miguel says there is indeed a sequel in the works.

Miguel won’t give away any details… but he did reveal that Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors wants to be in it.

The original had a bunch of cameos from NBA stars, including Muggsy Bogues, Vlade Divac, Dikembe Mutombo, and Rasheed Wallace.
