A Netflix Watcher Helped Solve A Child Kidnapping

A Netflix fan helped solve a child abduction! After seeing an episode of Unsolved Mysteries, a viewer recognized Heather Unbehaun, a person of interest in the abduction of her daughter Kayla.

In 2017, Kayla’s father went to pick up his daughter only to find that Unbehaun had packed up and left. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children issued an alert, but Kayla was not found until now.

Unbehaun was arrested and faces a charge of child abduction. “I’m overjoyed that Kayla is home safe,” Ryan Iskerka, Kayla’s father, said.
