A Woman Thought It Was Okay to Speed Because She Was Driving a Fast Car?
A 25-year-old woman in Florida named Siria Lopez was pulled over last week after being clocked at 123 miles per hour. She was flying through a residential neighborhood at three times the speed limit, and blew a 0.23 on a breathalyzer, which was also three times over the limit.
When the cops asked her why she was going so dangerously fast, she said, “Honestly, it’s just because he has a Supra, and I thought I was okay to go fast.” She said the car belonged to her passenger. And HE knew better. He was caught doing 109 miles per hour, in the same car, on the same road in 2024.
Siria violated Florida’s punitive “super speeder” law, and was also charged with DUI. She was additionally cited for “careless aggressive driving, modified exhaust, and improper turn signal.”
