Adelle’s Creperie, a beloved French-inspired eatery nestled in Chattanooga’s Southside, is preparing to close its doors after a decade of serving authentic French cuisine. The restaurant announced the upcoming closure on social media, revealing that its final day of operation will be Sunday, June 28, 2026 — coinciding with its 10th anniversary.
Located at 400 East Main Street, Adelle’s has been a local culinary staple, offering a taste of Paris through its signature crepes, brunch offerings, and dinner menus. The establishment has become a cherished part of the community, attracting both locals and visitors seeking a slice of authentic French culture.
The decision to close comes as the owners focus on other ventures. In addition to Adelle’s, the family also operated The Granfalloon, an event space that hosted notable events like “Road to Nightfall.” With the recent graduation of co-owner Adelle Pritchard, who helped launch the restaurant at just 12 years old, the family has chosen to shift their attention to their other businesses, Chattanooga Presents and Pritchard Properties. A statement from co-owner Carla Pritchard shared the heartfelt journey of the restaurant, highlighting its origins as a childhood dream for Adelle. The family expressed gratitude to their loyal customers, staff, and supporters who have helped make the restaurant a meaningful part of their lives. They invited the community to join in celebrating the ten-year milestone before the closing date.
Looking ahead, the owners announced plans to introduce a new tenant and food concept in the space, which is expected to open by September. The closure marks the end of an era, but also the beginning of new opportunities for the family and the community.
