Are Lower Back Tattoos Cool Again?

Can you still fit into your old low-rise jeans from 2003?

If so, I’ve got some good news… LOWER BACK TATTOOS might be cool again.  A blog post about it is going viral right now.

They were the trendiest tattoo you could get in the late ’90s and early 2000s.  Then people started calling them “tramp stamps”  and “Wedding Crashers” made fun of them, and “SNL” did a skit.  So they fell out of fashion.

The blog post writer claims they’re coming back in a big way though.  A tattoo artist she talked to said they’ve been getting more and more requests for lower back tattoos.  One woman who recently got one said she put it off for years, because there was a stigma,  but she finally decided to go for it, and said it makes her feel empowered.
