At The VMAs Taylor Swift Tried to Grill ‘N Sync

‘N Sync did indeed reunite at the “MTV Video Music Awards” last night, but they didn’t perform.  They also didn’t reveal whether they had any future plans or anything.  They just presented the Best Pop award.

But the winner of that award, Taylor Swift, wouldn’t let them off the hook.  After totally fangirling and telling the guys she had their DOLLS, she started grilling them.

She said, quote, “Are you doing something?  What’s gonna happen now? . . . They’re gonna do something and I need to know what it is!”  Unfortunately, it was one of the few times Taylor did NOT get what she wanted, because they didn’t say anything.

The rest of the show was pretty bloated… it ran just shy of FOUR HOURS.  But that’s because it was loaded with performers, including:  Nicki MinajCardi B and Megan Thee StallionDoja CatDemi LovatoLil WayneFall Out BoyKelsea BalleriniMetro BoominOlivia Rodrigo, and LL Cool J who was part of an all-star 50th Anniversary Hip-Hop Medley.

And that’s just scratching the surface.

Taylor Swift did NOT perform, but not surprisingly, she had a big night.  She was named Artist of the Year, and “Anti-Hero” won Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, and Best Direction.  And of course, she directed it herself.

Nicki Minaj won Best Hip-Hop for “Super Freaky Girl”, and Ice Spice won Best New Artist.

Shakira received the Video Vanguard Award, and Diddy got the Global Icon Award.  Both of them performed medleys of their hits.

You can check out videos from the show here, but many contain profanity.
