Britney Spears Has Gone to Rehab

If you’re rooting for Britney Spears, then this should come as a relief:  Britney voluntarily entered rehab yesterday for drug and alcohol issues.

This comes over a month after she got a DUI. At the time of her arrest, her rep said Britney planned to “take the right steps” to, quote, “come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success.”

Britney previously went to rehab in 2007.

During her custody battle with Kevin Federline in 2008, she was hospitalized twice for psychiatric evaluation.  That led to her conservatorship, which was lifted 13 years later, in 2021.
