Budweiser Bought America a Beer for Its 250th Birthday

Budweiser wanted to help you celebrate the Fourth of July in style.  So, they gave away a bunch of FREE beer.

Well, kind of.  The company gave away thousands of $6 digital gift cards to adults 21 and older.  It was part of their “Covering America’s Tab” promotion celebrating America’s 250th birthday.

It said the offer ran through July 5th … or until Budweiser’s $150,000 tab runs out.  But the tab is already up.  Hope you acted quickly!

Here’s what it says on their website: “Due to overwhelming demand, America’s tab has been closed.”  But it gives you the option of signing up to receive an email if the tab is reopened.

Budweiser says it was their way of thanking Americans by raising a toast to America’s 250th birthday.
