“Chappelle’s Show” Might Come Back???

When Dave Chappelle quit “Chappelle’s Show” in the middle of filming Season 3, he walked away from $50 million of Comedy Central’s money.

But he felt strongly about leaving, for several reasons.  He was burned out, he thought the brass was trying to exert too much control . . . and he even thought some of his sketches were, quote, “socially irresponsible.”

But that was 2005.  This is now, and Dave is thinking about bringing it back.  He says, quote, “If you’d asked me that question a year ago, I’d have told you absolutely not.  But in the last few weeks . . . I’m considering it.” But it sounds like if it happens, it’s gonna be his way or the highway.
