Chattanooga Kicks Off City-Wide Karaoke Contest with Exciting Finals Scheduled for October

Chattanooga music fans and aspiring singers are gearing up for a thrilling new event set to showcase local talent. Starting September 10, 2026, the city will host a multi-week karaoke competition open to all skill levels, culminating in a grand finale on October 15th at Dave & Buster’s.

The contest aims to bring the community together through music, offering participants the chance to perform on stage at four popular venues across Chattanooga and East Ridge. Each week, aspiring vocalists can hit the stage at different locations, with the top performers earning a spot in the city-wide finals.

Weekly competition schedule:
– Tuesdays (8 PM – Midnight) at Whiskey Cowgirl, 1819 Broad St, Chattanooga (hosts: DJ Sue & Steven Underwood)
– Thursdays (7 PM – 10:30 PM) at WXYZ Bar, 2090 Hamilton Pl, Chattanooga (hosts: DJ Danz & Curtis Danz)
– Fridays (8 PM – Midnight) at Mas Tequila, 4134 Ringgold Rd, East Ridge (hosts: DJ Fred & Fred Watson)
– Saturdays (9 PM – 1 AM) at Backstage Bar, 29 Station St, Chattanooga (hosts: Mr. Lister & Jay Young)

Participation is FREE, welcoming singers of all experience levels. The last night to compete in the weekly venues is October 10th, with the highest-scoring performers from each location advancing to the finals.

The final showdown will take place at Dave & Buster’s on October 15th, where contestants will compete for cash prizes and the coveted title of Chattanooga’s Karaoke Champion.

Prizes include $300 for first place, $200 for second, and $100 for third. Additionally, all winners will earn the opportunity to perform live at the Walk Run Pedal Jamz Festival® on October 31, 2026, at Chattanooga Green (Ross’s Landing).
