Chattanooga Zoo Offers Special Fall Events for Homeschoolers and Senior Visitors

This fall, Chattanooga Zoo is providing special opportunities for homeschooling families and senior citizens to explore and enjoy its diverse animal exhibits and educational programs.

On September 4th and 11th, the zoo will host Homeschool Days, specially designed field trips for the local homeschooling community. These events will run from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and feature interactive activities, close-up animal encounters, and educational experiences aimed at engaging young learners in science and wildlife conservation.

Homeschooling families can take advantage of discounted rates, available exclusively online, with tickets priced at $7 per student (ages 3-17) and $12 per accompanying adult.

Additionally, on October 1st, the zoo will offer FREE admission to visitors aged 65 and older. Guests can simply present a valid photo ID at the entrance to enjoy the day without purchasing a ticket.

Located just outside downtown Chattanooga, the zoo spans 14 acres and is home to over 150 species from around the world.

Ticket prices are affordable, starting at $11.95 for children, $12.95 for seniors, and $14.95 for adults. Visitors can also participate in animal feedings and other interactive experiences for an extra fee.
