Drew Barrymore Was Rushed Off a Stage After Someone in the Crowd Tried to Approach Her
Chattanooga, Tennessee—(Wise Brother)
Drew Barrymore was rushed off the stage during an event at a theater in New York on Monday, thanks to some weird guy in the audience. She was having a conversation with actress and singer Renee Rapp, when the guy came down the aisle shouting Drew’s name.
Drew was obviously shocked, and shouted, “Oh my god, yes, hi!” And the man said, quote, “You know who I am. I need to see you at some point while I’m in New York.”
But his plans got interrupted by two security guards, who escorted him out of the theater. At the same time, Renee actually got up and escorted Drew off the stage. They came back out a few minutes later. (Here’s video.)
